2020 SAPERAVI
What a variety and what a wine!
Saperavi has been cultivated for thousands of years and has spent the last decade flourishing in the South Burnett. Big colour, flavours, tannins and acidity; Saperavi is very generous in providing these key ingredients.
Getting the balance and structure right has created this silky, full bodied wine loaded with dark berry flavours and soft smooth tannins. It's an exuberant wine which makes a perfect partner for slow cooked red meats.
2023 shiraz
We sourced the fruit for this wine from the South Burnett’s coolest vineyard site. The extended ripening period produces slightly higher acidity and smoother tannins. The berry flavours include blackberry and cherry. Pairs wonderfully with a succulent steak, BBQ meats or pizza. Indulge yourself, you deserve it!
sassy lassy
This unique blend of Viognier and Verdelho creates a classy, easy-drinking alfresco style wine. Sassy tropical fruit flavors enhanced by a crisp finish. This wine recognizes three generations of the vivacious Stewart women: Vera the Vibrant Octogenarian, Verona the Virtuoso, and Vikki the Visionary!
2023 verdelho
This variety continues to thrive in the South Burnett Wine Region. Verdelho enjoys sunshine and warmth which creates a pleasurable mix of tropical pineapple and passionfruit flavours in concert with the citrus tang of lemon and lime. The natural crisp acidity completes the magic. The 2023 vintage has produced a truly delightful wine!
2021 tempranillo
This is ripping fruit-driven wine. Ripe berry flavours dominate the nose and palate. Dark fruit characters and generous tannins create a smooth, velvety finish.
A classic example of a wine crafted in the vineyard. Peter recommends pairing with BBQ meats, pizza, paella or a partridge in a pear tree!
